Business Process Analyst

Brief Description: To provide input into requirements; to analyse requirements and processes; to determine process solutions; to ensure viability of solutions; to document process solutions; to provide ad hoc input into business cases.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Obtain required documents and as is processes. Analyse and provide feedback. Provide input to requirement documents.
  • Obtain information and provide input for business cases as required.
  • High level estimates of work to be performed. Detail estimates of work to be performed. Create scope document and obtain sign-off.
  • Review and provide input into project SOW, PEP, Schedule et cetera
  • Review proposal and provide comments to author. Check training material to ensure accuracy of process input. Provide comments to author as applicable.
  • ARIS models, time standards, service level agreements, procedure manuals, capacity model updates. (As appropriate.) Hand over for deployment.
  • Propose process solution alternatives.
  • Obtain signoff on the above as appropriate.
  • Ensure publication of process solution by handing to KNet and checking results
  • Participate in relevant formal and informal training initiatives
  • Create process test cases. Test. Provide test results and input into test strategy.
  • Accountable for reviewing and approval if another resource is performing the work.
  • Answer queries, supply required information.
  • Analyse issues and make changes if required.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Matric
  • Degree or any other tertiary qualification
  • 2 – 5 years experience
